Welcome to your new EV charger
So you've now got your smart charger. There's a few things you can do to make the most of it.
Get connected to the App. Each smart charger can connect with its own App. This means you'll be able to make the most of all the functionality, and control everything from your sofa (or driver's seat). Your Octo-engineer probably showed you how to use it, but if you need to get the App, download it here.
Get on the right tariff. Being able to charge at the right time is the first step. Make sure you're paying the right price for when you charge with an energy tariff created just for electric car drivers. Find out what tariff works best with your charger here.
Something not quite right?
From time to time things go wrong. If your charger isn't playing nicely, there could be a few reasons for this. It's best to contact the manufacturer in the first instance; they'll be able to remotely connect into the charger to run some tests (and hopefully fix it remotely as well). If no problems with the detected with the chargepoint are detected, the manufacturer will get in touch with us, and one of our engineers will arrange to come round and get it sorted.
All chargers that we've installed come with a 1 Year's Installation Warranty, and a 3 Year Product Warranty. So, as long as the problem's caught within that timeframe, we should get you back charging quickly.
